Jackfruit / kathal - Kofta Recipe

Jackfruit - half a kilo
Tomato - Four Pieces
Ginger - small piece
Gram flour - as required
Asafoetida - half a teaspoon
Bay leaf - five pieces
Turmeric powder - one teaspoon
Coriander Powder - One Teaspoon
Cumin Powder - One Teaspoon
Garam Masala - two teaspoons
Red chili powder - a spoon
Kissamis - 1 cup
Fresh cream - a cup
Steamed garam masala - As per need
Ghee / Oil - Adequate
Salt - as per taste

How to make Jackfruit / kathal - Kofta Recipe :
First cut the jackfruit into small pieces. And it takes
three to four whistles in the cooker.
When the cooker cools, remove the jackfruit from the cooker
and mix it well.
After this, add salt, asafoetida, turmeric powder, garam
masala and gram flour and mix it well. Mix it so that it can be easily made
into small balls. Put raisins in the center before making it into a ball.
After this, heat the oil in a pan. And fry all the jackfruit
dumplings. After that, heat oil in a pan and add cumin, asafoetida, bay leaf,
long, cardamom, cinnamon and red chilli. When all these are cooked well then
add chopped tomatoes to it.
When tomatoes are cooked well, add coriander powder,
turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, red chili powder and salt.
And cook all these spices well with tomatoes.
After that add water for a little juice (gravy).
When 2 to 3 comes to a boil, add
jackfruit dumplings to it and let it cook on low flame for two to three
minutes. This is how your delicious jackfruit kofta is prepared.
After that you put fresh cream from the top which will make
it look attractive and the test will also increase manifold.

Now heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin, cardamom, long, bay
leaves, red chillies to it.
When the cumin seeds turn golden in color, sprinkle them
over the prepared recipe.
Serve hot garnished with green coriander leaves. Serve it
with paratha or roti and enjoy the kofta of recipe jackfruit.
