Jimikand / Suran - one pound
Onion - 250 grams
Capsicum - two pieces
Turmeric Powder - One teaspoon
Red chilli powder - one teaspoon
Tomato - Three Pieces
Ginger - small piece
Garlic - Five Buds
Kasuri Methi - Half a teaspoon
Garam Masala - a spoon
Oil - As required
Salt - as per taste
How to make Jimikand / Suran-Capsicum Recipe:
First cut the jimikanda into small pieces.
Boil it in the cooker.
After that heat oil in a pan. And fry the jimikanda in it.
After this, heat oil again in a pan and add cumin seeds,
green chillies, bay leaves and cook it.
When cumin seeds are golden in color, add onion to them.
Lightly roast the onion with spices.
When onion becomes lightly fried, add chopped capsicum to it
and cook it well.
After that add finely chopped tomatoes, ginger paste, garlic
paste, coriander powder, turmeric powder and salt and mix it well. Cook it on
low flame for a while.
When it cooks well, add a little water according to your
taste. And after that, after two to three boils, turn off the gas or induction.
In this way, your recipe of gimikand-capsicum is ready.
To make it tasty, add a little kasuri fenugreek and garam
masala and leave it covered for a while.
